In omaggio al loro Patrono San Luigi Gonzaga, i contradaioli del Terziere Casalino, realizzano ogni anno un’originale infiorata.
Quest'appuntamento, tra i più importanti della la città, segna tradizionalmente l’inizio delle manifestazioni dell’estate pievese. L’infiorata è anche musica e spettacolo; infatti, sia nella notte del sabato che nel pomeriggio della domenica i visitatori sono accompagnati lungo il percorso da armonie musicali.
Nelle notti magiche del solstizio d’estate, in un confondersi di arte, spiritualità, storia e antiche tradizioni popolari, i contradaioli del Terziere realizzano quello che al mattino seguente è l’incomparabile spettacolo dell’Infiorata, le vie del centro storico diventano un tappeto interminabile di disegni sacri adornati di fiori variopinti.

In honour of their patron Saint Luigi Gonzaga, the contrada members of the Casalino District make every year an original infiorata.
This appointment, among the most important ones of the city, marks traditionally the beginning of local summer events.
The infiorata is also music and performance; indeed, both in the night of Saturday and in the afternoon of Sunday, visitors are accompanied along the itinerary by musical harmonies.
In the magical nights of the summer solstice, in a mix of art, spirituality, history and ancient popular traditions, the contrada members of the District make what the following morning becomes the unparalleled event of Infiorata. The streets of the historical centre become an endless carpet of sacred drawings decorated with colourful flowers.
