Con la sua settantunesima edizione, "Amici della Musica" rende più che mai omaggio ai giovani talenti, proponendo un cartellone ricco di ospiti destinati ad una fulgida carriera nel panorama internazionale della grande musica.
Al centro della stagione 2016/2017 ci saranno novità e freschezza: dai quartetti il Kelemen e l'Akilone, passando l'italiana Beatrice Rana, fino al ventiduenne coreano Seong-Jin Cho, che si esibirà in Mozart, Debussy e Chopin.
Un altro prestigioso debutto sarà quello della violoncellista Alisa Weilerstein, protagonista dello spettacolo di chiusura insieme all'Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, uno dei complessi leggendari del nostro tempo.
La musica da camera, i grandi pianisti, i tradizionali appuntamenti di Natale e Pasqua ti accompagneranno per il resto della stagione: la Sala dei Notari, il Teatro Morlacchi e la Basilica di San Pietro nell'acropoli perugina saranno le location dei concerti.

With its 71st edition, "Amici della musica" pays tribute more than ever to young talents, by proposing a schedule rich of guests intended for a brilliant career on the international scene of the big music.
News and freschness are going to be the keywords of the 2016/2017 season: from quartets Keloemn and Akilone, through the italian Beatrice Rana, until the 22 years old Corean Seong-Jin Cho, who is going to perform Mozart, Debussy and Chopin.
Another prestigious debut is going to be the cellist Alisa Weilerstein, protagonist of the closing performance together with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, one of the legendary ensembles of our time.
The chamber music, the big pianists, the traditional Christmas and Easter appointments are going to accompany you for the rest of the season: the Notari's Hall, the Morlacchi Theatre and the St. Peter Basilica in Perugia are going to be the concerts' locations.
