L���evento, dedito alla commistione e alla sperimentazione artistica, si svolger�� come sempre nel centro storico dell���antico borgo di Corciano, selezionato tra i pi�� belli d���Italia, e ospiter�� appuntamenti dedicati alle arti visive, al teatro, alla musica, alla letteratura, alle rievocazioni storiche e all��� enogastronomia.
Pi�� di dieci giorni in cui il centro storico di questo gioiello di storia sopravvissuto al tempo sar�� invaso dall���energia culturale del Festival, offrendo occasioni di incontro, di riscoperta delle eccellenze italiane e del territorio e confermando il suo spirito eclettico e di ampio respiro.
Ma l���edizione di quest���anno si propone in una veste totalmente rinnovata. L���antico borgo diventa una straordinaria opera d���arte a cielo aperto, grazie a ��� STENDALE. L���abbraccio delle Muse���, una grande installazione artistica ideata da Fabrizio Fabbri e curata da Gabriele Perretta, scrittore, critico d���arte e docente (Paris IV, ABA Brera),che vede coinvolti pi�� di 120 artisti internazionali, chiamati a realizzare un grandioso Progetto di Arti Visive, in un intreccio di linguaggi mediali e di incredibili corrispondenze espressive, assolutamente da non perdere.
La cerchia muraria del borgo sar�� la soglia della mediapolis in cui si incontrano tutti i percorsi espositivi composti dalle opere originali di protagonisti internazionali, realizzate per l���occasione con tecniche e linguaggi espressivi che spaziano dalla figurazione all��� astrattismo, dall��� arte concettuale alla fotografia, dalla video art alla street art, dalla performance musicale a quella poetica, dal design all��� installazione multimediale. Le mura saranno il supporto della scenografica installazione di una lunga sequenza di ��� stendali��� - in fotorama, land specific - sui quali gli artisti hanno (di)spiegato come le convergenze dell���arte contemporanea possano ���dialogare��� con la storia antica, interagendo con la realt�� e le forme pi�� avanzate della riproducibilit�� mediale.
In esposizione, anche gli emergenti dell��� Accademia di Belle Arti ���Pietro Vannucci��� di Perugia, le cui creazioni saranno valutate da una giuria di esperti e concorreranno al rinato ��� Premio Corciano��� (ideato nel 1965), nella volont�� di rafforzare la vocazione di Corciano per l���arte moderna e contemporanea. Focused on artistic experimentation and contaminations, the event will take place as usual in the historic center of the ancient village of Corciano, among the most beautiful in Italy. It will host many initiatives dedicated to the visual arts, theater, music, literature, historical reenactments, food and wine.
More than ten days in which the cultural energy of the Festival will fill the historical center of this place that has survived time, offering opportunities for meetings and to rediscover Italian and local excellences, confirming its eclectic and wide-ranging vocation.
Moreover, this edition is totally renewed. The ancient village will become an extraordinary open-air work of art thanks to \"STENDALE. The embrace of the Muses\" that is a great artistic installation created by Fabrizio Fabbri and curated by Gabriele Perretta, writer, art critic and teacher (Paris IV, ABA Brera). Involving more than 120 international artists, called to realize a great Visual Arts Project in a mix of media languages and incredible expressive correspondences, it is an exhibition not to be missed.
The city walls will be the threshold of the mediapolis, the place where all the exhibition itineraries will connect. These artistic itineraries are composed of the original works of international artists, realized for the occasion with expressive techniques and languages ranging from figuration to abstract art, from conceptual art to photography, from video art to street art, from musical to poetic performance, from design to multimedia installation.
The city walls will support the spectacular installation of a long sequence of \"stendali\" - in photorama, land specific - on which the artists have ���explained��� how the convergences of contemporary art can 'dialogue' with ancient history, interacting with the reality and the most advanced forms of media reproducibility.
Also on display, the emerging artists of the Academy of Fine Arts \"Pietro Vannucci\" of Perugia, whose creations will be evaluated by a jury of experts and will compete for the reborn \"Corciano Award\" (conceived in 1965) to strengthen the vocation of Corciano for modern and contemporary art. The project will be inaugurated on August 3rd and will remain on display until October 6th.
