Si terr�� dal 28 al 30 settembre nella citt�� di Bettona il 1�� Convegno Internazionale dal titolo ��El Greco in Terre d��Umbria. Per una nuova geografia dei soggiorni di Dom��nikos Theotok��poulos tra Creta e l��Italia��.

Il Convegno Internazionale di Bettona si terr�� il giorno 28 settembre presso la Villa del Boccaglione, mentre i giorni 29 e 30 settembre presso il Teatro comunale di Santa Caterina.

Sar�� un luogo di scambio e di confronto di esperienze, aperto a studiosi di storia dell��arte, storici, curatori, restauratori e diagnosti che vogliano contribuire agli studi sulla figura di El Greco, mettendo a disposizione della comunit�� scientifica le loro ricerche.

Presupposti sono i cinque dipinti su tavola (c.d. Tavolette del Tabernacolo di Bettona) recentemente attribuiti al pittore cretese ed oggi conservati presso il Museo civico, il Tabernacolo firmato cosiddetto ��di Cipro�� e tutti quegli indizi che consentiranno di avanzare l��ipotesi di un intenso soggiorno di Dom��nikos tra Umbria e Marche, avvalorando quindi l��esistenza di una sua bottega.

Saranno presenti importanti studiosi italiani e internazionali, personalit�� del mondo dell��arte e della cultura.

The 1^st International Conference entitled ��El Greco in Lands of Umbria. For a new geography of the Dom��nikos Theotok��poulos�� stays between Crete and Italy�� will be held in the city of Bettona from 28^th to 30^th September.

The International Conference of Bettona will be held on 28^th September at the Villa del Boccaglione, on 29^th and 30^th September at the Municipal Theatre of St. Catherine.

It will be a place of exchange and comparison of experiences, open to scholars of art history, historians, curators, restorers and diagnostics who want to contribute to the studies on the figure of El Greco, making their research available to the scientific community.

There will be five paintings on canvass (the so-called Tabernacle Tablets of the Bettona Tabernacle) recently attributed to the Cretan painter and now kept at the Civic Museum, the signed Tabernacle so-called \"of Cyprus\" and all those clues that will allow to advance the hypothesis of an intense stay of Dom��nikos between Umbria and Marche, thus confirming the existence of his workshop.

Important Italian and international scholars, personalities from the world of art and culture will be present.
