Affonda le sue radici nel Medioevo ed è una delle fiere dedicate ai cavalli più antiche d'Italia: è la Mostra Nazionale del Cavallo di Città di Castello, l'8 e il 9 settembre.
L'evento, nato nel 1032 in onore di San Florido, offre anche per il 2018 un programma ricco di eventi e iniziative ispirate alla tradizione del cavallo e alla cultura del territorio.
Qualche esempio?
Gli spettacoli equestri firmati da Nico Belloni, con gli artisti dei prestigiosi tour mondiali “Apassionata” e “Cavalluna”, il campionato regionale umbro di Endurance valevole per la Coppa delle Regioni 2018 Fise, che omaggerà l’Umbria detentrice del titolo e ai vertici nazionali della disciplina con i propri alfieri, e le competizioni di attacchi sportivi sotto l’egida del Comitato regionale Fise Umbria. Grande attenzione anche ai bambini, con il battesimo del pony all’insegna dell’innovativo metodo Feel.

It has its roots in the Middle Ages and is one of the oldest horse fairs in Italy: it is the National Horse Exhibition that will take place in Città di Castello on 8th and 9th September.
The event, born in 1032 in honour of St. Florido, offers also for 2018 a rich programme of events and initiatives inspired by the horse tradition and the culture of the territory.
A few examples?
The equestrian shows signed by Nico Belloni, with the artists of the prestigious world tours "Apassionata" and "Cavalluna"; the Umbrian regional Endurance championship valid for the 2018 Fise Regional Cup, which will pay tribute to Umbria, holder of the title, and to the national leaders of the discipline with its standard bearers; and the competitions of sports attacks under the aegis of the Regional Committee “Fise Umbria”. Great attention will also be paid to children, with the baptism of the pony in the name of the innovative Feel method.
