Lambardi's Tower in Magione provides the setting for the historical-documentary exhibition \"From Trasimeno to Lepanto - Della Corgna Family across history. Perugia, Italy and Europe\", on schedule from the 8^th April to the 9^th July.

War and power, diplomacy and religion in the heart of the 16^th century, will be traced through the life and deeds of Ascanio and Fulvio della Corgna as well as of other members of this important lineage who left indelible marks on the Trasimeno territory, moving from the local micro-history to the big European dynamics.

From the obscure provincial origins of the family to its political rise in Perugia, until its triumphs in the 16^th century with Ascanio, leader and man of arms, protagonist of Lepanto's battle (1571, the naval struggle that stopped the Turkish expansion in the Mediterranean), as well as his brother Fulvio, prestigious cardinal who became member of the Roman curial politics during the epoch of the Counter-Reformation.

Documents, ancient books, weapons, paintings, video constructions, interactive multimedia systems will offer the visitor an atmosphere of strong suggestion and full emotional involvement in the events of this time.
