"Concorso Internazionale di Danza ���Citt�� di Spoleto���"@it . "The 28th edition of the prestigious \"City of Spoleto\" International Dance Competition will be held from 9th to 13th April at the \"Gian Carlo Menotti\" New Theatre in Spoleto.

The Competition, which sees as honorary president Alberto Testa and as artistic director Irina Kashkova, presents this year two major innovations: the inclusion of a new category called \"Promises\", reserved for young people between 9 and 11 years old, and of a section dedicated to \"Groups\", for those who want to present a choreography work taken from the classical, neoclassical, modern-contemporary and folk repertoire.

The stage will feature, as always, young dancers from national and foreign schools, who will perform classical and modern/contemporary choreographies.

Participants will have to go through different stages of selection under the eyes of a jury of experts and an increasingly large and interested public, in the hope of entering the Gala Evening on 13th April, during which the winners of the various sections will be crowned.

Il Concorso, che vede come presidente onorario Alberto Testa e come direttorice artistica Irina Kashkova, presenta quest'anno due grandi novit��: l'inserimento di una nuova categoria denominata ���Promesse���, riservata ai giovani di et�� compresa tra i 9 e gli 11 anni, e di una sezione dedicata ai ���Gruppi���, per coloro che vogliono presentare un lavoro di coreografia tratto dal repertorio classico, neoclassico, moderno-contemporaneo e folk.
Come sempre, sul palco di alterneranno giovani danzatori provenienti da scuole nazionali ed estere, alle prese con coreografie classiche e moderne/contemporanee. 
I partecipanti dovranno superare diverse fasi di selezione sotto gli occhi di una giuria di esperti e di un pubblico sempre pi�� numeroso e interessato, nella speranza di accedere alla Serata di Gala del 13 aprile, durante la quale verranno incoronati i vincitori delle varie sezioni.
