Dal 4 al 6 gennaio, \"Spello Splendens\" torna a promuovere la conoscenza delle musiche antiche ispirate alla festa del Natale: un'occasione unica nel panorama internazionale per ascoltare le sonorit�� di strumenti d'altri tempi come zampogne e cornamuse.
In questa ottava edizione sono ospiti, dal Nord Italia, gli Enerbia con la musica tradizionale dell���Appennino delle 4 Provincie, con il piffero e la musa, i loro strumenti tipici; mentre, dalla Puglia, il SalenTrio/Quartet, tra pizziche, canti e sonate natalizie, e Aldo Iezza con i suoi spericolati inserimenti alle zampogne e flauti.
Uno spazio particolare �� dato alla voce femminile, con i concerti di Sara Marini (tra Umbria e Sardegna) e di Frida Neri (Fado portoghese), due cantanti accompagnate da bravissimi chitarristi, in personali elaborazioni di canti tradizionali del Natale.
E poi c����� ���Zampogne e Lenticchie���, la passeggiata musicale con raduno libero dei musicisti, con la partecipazione del cantautore Piero Brega e della polistrumentista Oretta Orengo, con il loro vasto repertorio di composizioni proprie e tradizionali.
Non mancheranno laboratori, stage ed esposizioni.

\"Spello Splendens\" will return to enhance the knowledge of ancient music inspired by Christmas from 4th to 6th January: it���s a unique occasion in the international scene to listen to sounds of past times such as bagpipes.
The guests of this 8th edition will be the Enerbia from Northern Italy with the traditional music of the four provinces in the Appenine and their typical instruments, like the fife and the muse; furthermore, the SalenTrio/Quartet from Puglia which will perform pizziche (a traditional popular dance in Southern Italy), Christmas songs and sonatas, and Aldo Lezza with his daring insertions together with flutes and bagpipes.
A particular space will be given to the female voice with the concerts of Sara Marini (between Umbria and Sardinia) and Frida Neri (Portuguese Fado), two singers accompanied by wonderful guitarists who will perform in personal interpretations of traditional Christmas songs.
Then there will be also ���Bagpipes and Lentils���, the music walk with an open gathering of musicians, that will also see the participation of the song-writer Piero Brega and the multi-instrumentalist Oretta Orengo, with their wide repertoire of own and traditional compositions.
Laboratories, stage and exhibitions won���t fail.
