"Tuoro sul Trasimeno / Castiglione del Lago"^^ . "12.05297453739513"^^ . "

A quiet walk that will cross, in its first part, the countryside and the landscape glimpses around Lake Trasimeno and which will then skirt the long lake until it ends walking in the plain woods present in this strip of Umbrian territory on the border with Tuscany .
We are located in the vicinity of various paths of historical and religious interest such as the Via Romea Germanica, the Via Lauretana and the itinerary 50 from Chiusi della Verna to Assisi.

Itinerary
We will start from the locality of Sanguineto, whose toponym is linked to the Battle of Trasimeno (year 217 BC) in which Hannibal, strong of his army composed of Libi, Numidi, Mauri, Iberi, Celtiberi and Balearici (about 20,000 soldiers), had the best of Roman army led by the Consul Flaminio.
From there we will go up briefly and take a path on the left that will take us to a panoramic position on Lake Trasimeno in the locality of Punta Bella; then we will go down to Borghetto and we will skirt a campsite to continue along the lake following the route of the Trasimeno cycle path.
We will walk for a long flat stretch through typical lowland woods with very interesting flora and vegetation characteristics, until we reach, around 12.30, our day destination, the farm \"La Sugarella\", where it is possible to do a small free tasting of farm products and wines from the cellar belonging to the Colli del Trasimeno Wine Route.

It should be noted that the walk is not circular but linear, with a shuttle bus service to bring the participants back to the starting point after the tasting.

  • Overall height difference uphill: about 150 meters.

The appointment is set for 8.30, in the locality of Sanguineto in front of pitch n��. 6 of the Battle of Trasimeno, located just before the town of Sanguineto.

Free Participation, but release to be completed for insurance purposes.

To participate, you must have the necessary technical clothing and a certain habit of trekking.

Un tour nella campagna del Trasimeno tra Tuoro e Castiglione

Una camminata tranquilla che attraverser��, nella sua prima parte, la campagna e gli scorci di paesaggio nei dintorni del Lago Trasimeno e che poi costegger�� il lungo lago sino a terminare camminando nei boschi di pianura presenti in questo lembo di territorio umbro a confine con la Toscana.
Ci troviamo nei paraggi di diversi cammini di interesse storico-religioso quale la Via Romea Germanica, la Via Lauretana e l���itinerario 50 da Chiusi della Verna ad Assisi. 

Percorso
Partiremo dalla localit�� Sanguineto, il cui toponimo �� legato alla Battaglia del Trasimeno (anno 217 a.C.) in cui Annibale, forte delsuo esercito composto da Libi, Numidi, Mauri, Iberi, Celtiberi e Balearici (20.000 soldati circa), ebbe la meglio sull���esercito Romano guidato dal Console Flaminio.
Da l�� saliremo brevemente e prenderemo sulla sinistra un sentiero che ci porter�� in posizione panoramica sul Lago Trasimeno in localit�� Punta Bella; poi scenderemo per Borghetto e costeggeremo un campeggio per proseguire lungo lago seguendo il tracciato della Pista Ciclabile del Trasimeno.
Cammineremo per un lungo tratto pianeggiante attraversando boschi tipici di pianura dalle caratteristiche floro-vegetazionali molto interessanti, sino a raggiungere, intorno alle ore 12.30, la nostra meta di giornata, l���azienda agricola ���La Sugarella���, dove �� prevista la possibilit�� di fare una piccola degustazione gratuita dei prodotti aziendali e dei vini della cantina appartenente alla Strada del Vino Colli del Trasimeno.

Si segnala che la passeggiata non �� ad anello ma lineare, con servizio navetta con bus per riportare i partecipanti dopo la degustazione al punto di partenza.

  • Dislivello complessivo in salita: 150 metri circa.

L���appuntamento �� fissato per le ore 8.30, in localit�� Sanguineto di fronte alla piazzola n��. 6 della Battaglia del Trasimeno, dislocata appena prima dell���abitato di Sanguineto.

Partecipazione alla camminata gratuita, ma liberatoria da compliare ai fini assicurativi. 

Per partecipare occorre avere l���abbigliamento tecnico necessario ed una certa consuetudine con il trekking.
