The usual appointment with the information promoted by the International Journalism Festival is returning to Perugia again this year. The thirteenth edition is going to open on 3rd April, for five days full of activities, until 7th April.
The program of the festival includes hundreds of events and many guests: meetings and debates that will fill the days of the event, which has become the most important Media Event in Europe.
\r\n\r\nThe event, born in 2006 from the will of its founders, Arianna Ciccone and Christopher Potter, to talk about journalism, information and freedom of the press beyond the traditional methods, has its greatest strength in the novelty of the model constituting its basis. Inspired by the ideas and proposals of all participants, whether they are professionals, readers or students, it shapes the flow of reflections generated by this exchange: a formula that makes this voluntary meeting of opinions and international cultures as lively as possible.
\r\n\r\nThe Festival occupies the spaces of the Perugia historic centre, theatres, auditoriums and conference rooms, but also the streets of the city, which during the five days of the event will experience and breathe the same spirit and cultural drive that move the event and motivate to participate.
\r\n\r\nThe public and the speakers coming from all over the world are going to deal with issues related to both journalism and current affairs.

\r\nIl 28 agosto l’artista israeliana, una delle voci internazionali più emozionanti, capace di cambiare ed evolversi in ogni progetto, mantenendo sempre il suo tratto distintivo elegante e raffinato, presenta il suo nuovo disco “Letters to Bach”, prodotto dal leggendario Quincy Jones, in cui riprende 12 brani musicali del compositore tedesco Johann Sebastian Bach e li arricchisce con le sue parole, grazie ai testi in inglese ed ebraico, ispirati a temi che spaziano dalla sfera personale a una più universale.
\r\nUna musica che va oltre i confini di genere musicale e della lingua, capace di parlare al cuore delle persone e di emozionarle. Un omaggio al compositore tedesco unito alla capacità di sperimentare di un’artista che in 28 anni di attività ha saputo attraversare stili e argomenti, sempre in perfetta armonia tra di loro.
\r\nIl 31 agosto è tempo di “Emozioni. Viaggio tra le canzoni di Mogol e Battisti”. Lo spettacolo nasce per valorizzare e diffondere l’opera di due dei più grandi artisti che il panorama della musica italiana abbia mai avuto: Lucio Battisti e Mogol. L’evento ripercorre i grandi successi scaturiti dal fortunatissimo sodalizio, narrando una sorta di vera e propria biografa musicale e mettendo in risalto tutte le sfumature che si nascondono dietro ogni singola canzone. Il repertorio sarà interpretato da Gianmarco Carroccia, accompagnato da un’orchestra di 16 elementi. Il Maestro Mogol racconterà i vari aneddoti e gli importanti significati legati a ogni brano che verrà eseguito durante lo spettacolo.

Live, emerging, independent and alternative music: these are the key words for the Riverock Festival, an event dedicated to the independent Italian music scene which is held in Castelnuovo d'Assisi from the 27th to the 30th August.
| \r\n\t\t\t Some of the most particular and controversial names of Italian indie music will take to the Riverock Festival stage, including IOSONOUNCANE, Simonne Jones, Luminal, Magellano and Giovanni Truppi. \r\n\r\n\t\t\tThe Riverock Festival is the only summer date in Umbria for Lo Stato Sociale (they are playing on Friday 28th August) as well as for Fast Animals and Slow Kids (on stage Saturday 29th August). \r\n\r\n\t\t\tKicking off the performances on Thursday 27th, Friday 28th and Saturday 29th August are the winners of the Riverock Unplugged Contest 2015, a competition which, every year, gives space to bands, singer-songwriters and groups from Umbria. \r\n\r\n\t\t\tThe concerts are free on Thursday 27th and Sunday 30th August, whilst entry for Friday and Saturday is € 6 (€10 for both) \r\n\t\t\t | \r\n\t\t
