Dal 12 aprile al 7 maggio Foligno celebra il "divin poema" con le tante iniziative della "Celebrazione Dantesca".
Forse non tutti sanno che proprio nella Città della Quintana fu infatti realizzata la prima edizione a stampa della Divina Commedia.
L'editio princeps fu stampata nel 1472 dal prototipografo Giovanni Numeister, insieme ad Evangelista Angelini di Trevi e con la collaborazione dell'orafo folignate Emiliano Orfini che, probabilmente, disegnò e incise i caratteri.Oltre un mese di conferenze, spettacoli ed esposizioni fino alla presentazione della ristampa anastatica dell'editio princeps, edita dall'Editoriale Campi e illustrata da Nunzio Di Stefano (il 20 aprile).
Da non perdere la mostra "Libri di giovani artisti", visitabile dal 22 aprile al 7 maggio nell'orario di apertura del Museo di Palazzo Trinci (tutti i giorni, eccetto il lunedì, dalle 10.00-13.00 e 15.00-19.00).

From the 12th April to the 7th May Foligno will celebrate the "divine poem" with the many initiatives included in the "Dante's Celebration".
Maybe not everyone knows that the first printed edition of the Divine Comedy was exactly made in the Quintana's Town.
The editio princeps was printed in 1472 by Giovanni Numeister, one of the typography pioneers, together with Evangelista Angelini by Trevi and with the collaboration of the goldsmith from Foligno Emiliano Orfini, who probably drew and engraved the characters.Beyond a month of conferences, shows and exhibitions until the presentation of the editio princeps' reprint, published by the Campi Editoriale and illustrated by Nunzio Di Stefano (on the 20th April).
Don't miss out on the exhibition "Books of young artists", open from the 22nd April to the 7th May in the opening hours of Palazzo Trinci's Museum (every day, except on Monday, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 3 to 7 pm).
