Visual Arts Winter exhibitions at the Collicola Palace

Cristina MMR Bonucci ("A Kengo Kuma"), Beverly Pepper ("Beverly Pepper 1963"), "Cortesie per gli ospiti", Franco Marrocco ("L'Eco del Bosco"), Vincenzo Pennacchi ("La Crepa") e "Obic" a Palazzo Collicola, Francesco Irnem ("Ground Layer") alla Casa Romana: sono le Mostre Invernali di Palazzo Collicola, a Spoleto, che proseguiranno fino al 26 marzo 2017.
"A Kengo Kuma" presenta tre nuove opere dell'artista spoletina Cristina MMR Bonucci: tre domus in scala ridotta, tre isole architettoniche, tre spazi mentali. L'esposizione rende omaggio alla sguardo architettonico dell'artista, tra scultura visionaria e scenografia sensoriale, tra sacro e sinestesia, tra bellezza e morale.
"Beverly Pepper 1963" raccoglie 6 sculture del 1963 firmate dalla celebre artista: una donazione importante fatta al museo spoletino che rappresenta la continuità di storia e intenti nel rapporto tra la scultrice americana e il territorio umbro.
"Cortesie per gli ospiti" è un nuovo ciclo dedicato al mondo dei galleristi privati con le loro storie, le loro scelte, le loro passioni e intuizioni: un percorso narrativo e coinvolgente, immaginato come un'avventura culturale e costruito come una retrospettiva interiore.
"L'Eco del Bosco" è la personale di Franco Marocco: il viaggio dell'artista nel suo elegante universo in dissolvenza incrociata, tra foreste dei sogni, nature ibride, mappature interiori, richiami spirituali.
"La Crepa" è il progetto di Vincenzo Pennacchi: dopo il terremoto che ha colpito il museo in forma superficiale ma evidente, il danno è stato trasformato dall'artista in un valore costruttivo. Vincenzo Pennacchi è così intervenuto su diverse pareti del Piano Zero, nella zona che ospita la Collezione Collicola e alcune opere della Collezione 2.0.
"Obic" è l'ambizioso progetto che lega il mondo del cibo a quello delle arti visive: una mostra in cui saranno evidenti gli incroci visivi, tematici, filosofici e morali tra opera e ricetta.
Infine, la Casa Romana ospita "Ground Layer" di Francesco Irnem: una riflessione sugli archetipi e sul loro spostamento fluido, sui modi in cui i linguaggi "tradizionali" si filtrano nelle trame elettroniche, sui sistemi linguistici che gestiscono la memoria classica e la sua complessa "conservazione".

"In Kengo Kuma" proposes three new artworks of the Spoleto artist Cristina MMR Bonucci: three smaller-scale houses, three architectonic islands, three mental space. The exhibition pays tribute to the architectural perspective of the artist, between visionary sculpture and sensorial settings, sacred and synesthesia, beauty and morality.
"Beverly Pepper 1963" collects six sculptures from 1963 signed by the famous artist: an important donation made to the Spoleto's museum that represents the continuity of history and purposes in the relationship between the American sculptor and the Umbrian territory.
"Favours for guests" is a new cycle devoted to the world of private gallery owners with their stories, choices, passions and intuitions: a narrative and compelling itinerary, imagined as a cultural adventure and built like an interior retrospective.
"The Wood's Echo" is the personal exhibition of Franco Marocco: the journey of the artist through his elegant crossfade universe, among dreams' forests, hybrid natures, interior maps, spiritual recalls.
"The Crack" is the Vincenzo Pennacchi's project: after the earthquake that hit the museum in a superficial but evident way, the artist turned the damage according to a constructive perspective. Vincenzo Pennacchi intervened on different walls of the Zero Floor, in the area hosting the Collicola's Collection and some artworks of the 2.0. Collection.
"Obic" is the ambitious project linking food and visual arts: it's an exhibition showing the visual, thematic, philosophical and moral interesections between artworks and recipe.
Lastly, the Roman House will host "Ground Layer" by Francesco Irnem: a reflection about archetypes and their fluid movement, about ways through which "traditional" languages combine with electronical textures, as well as about linguistic systems managing the classical memory and its complex "conservation".
