"Porte aperte al Trasimeno" è l'iniziativa nata per valorizzare il comprensorio del lago.
Un'occasione unica per scoprire i paesaggi del "velo argenteo" raccontato da Lord Byron, i suoi borghi ricchi di storia, arte e tesori, cultura e tradizioni antiche: un'armonia complessiva che rende questo territorio un luogo unico, che già gli Etruschi immaginavano come una sorta di rappresentazione terrena della volta celeste, una terra "del buon vivere" dove forte è il senso dell'accoglienza e del calore.
Le strutture ricettive aderenti degli otto comuni del comprensorio del Trasimeno (Castiglione del Lago, Città della Pieve, Magione, Paciano, Panicale, Passignano sul Trasimeno, Piegaro e Tuoro sul Trasimeno) offriranno:
- dal 6 al 13 maggio: 3 notti gratis per un soggiorno di una settimana
- dal 11 al 13 maggio: 1 notte gratis
A tutti gli ospiti, inoltre, sarà offerto un tour per conoscere le bellezze culturali e naturalistiche del territorio.
In calendario anche numerose iniziative collaterali: percorsi storico culturali, tour enogastronomici, degustazioni di prodotti tipici, mostre mercato, attività sportive all'aria aperta, spettacoli e intrattenimento (per il programma completo, clicca qui).

“Open Doors at the Trasimeno Lake” is the initiative born to enhance the Lake’s area.
It’s a unique occasion to discover the landscapes of the “silver veil” narrated by Lord Byron, its villages rich in ancient history, art , treasures, culture and traditions: an overall harmony makes this territory a unique place, already imagined by Etruscans as a sort of earthly representation of the celestial vault, a land “of good living” where the sense of hospitality and warmth is strong.
The participating hospitality facilities of the eight municipalities included in the Trasimeno area (Castiglione del Lago, Città della Pieve, Magione, Paciano, Panicale, Passignano sul Trasimeno, Piegaro and Tuoro sul Trasimeno) are going to offer:
- From 6th to 13th May: 3 nights free of charge for a week’s stay.
- From 11th to 13th May: 1 night free of charge.
Furthermore, all guests will enjoy a tour that will allow them to get to know the cultural and natural beauties of the territory.
