Torna a Perugia, dal 5 al 7 ottobre, "Umbrialibri", la rassegna letteraria che sin dalle sue origini cerca di coniugare la produzione culturale nazionale con quella regionale, ospitando grandi nomi del panorama italiano (e non solo) e promuovendo al tempo stesso l'editoria locale.
In programma prime e anteprime, presentazioni, performance, seminari e workshop sui mestieri del libro, oltre alle fasi finali dei concorsi (inediti o rinnovati nella formula) con cui Umbrialibri si prefigge di stimolare la curiosità dei più giovani verso il libro e la scrittura-lettura consapevole, o di valorizzare la funzione socio-culturale delle piccole librerie indipendenti del nostro territorio, coinvolgendole – novità di quest’anno – in un concorso che premierà le migliori novità messe in commercio dagli editori umbri.

"Umbrialibri" will be back in Perugia from 5th to 7th October. This is the literary event that, since its origins, has tried to combine national and regional cultural production, hosting great names on the Italian scene (and beyond) and at the same time promoting local publishing.
The programme includes premieres and previews, presentations, performances, seminars and workshops on the professions of books, as well as the final stages of contests (that are either brand new or renewed in the formula), designed by Umbrialibri to stimulate the curiosity of young people towards books and conscious reading-writing, or to enhance the socio-cultural function of the small independent bookshops in our territory, involving them - this year's innovation - in a competition that will reward the best new titles put on the market by Umbrian publishers.
