...a Natale regalati Spoleto: dal 1 dicembre 2019 all’8 marzo 2020, tante iniziative tra musica, teatro, danza, sport ed enogastronomia per animare il periodo natalizio e l’inverno spoletino.
Questo, e molto altro, nel cartellone di Spoleto d’Inverno. Due gli eventi in programma per salutare il 2019 e dare il benvenuto al nuovo anno. In piazza Garibaldi, a partire dalle ore 22.30, il concerto di Tony Espostito con Enrico Capuano & La TammurriataRock, uno straordinario progetto musicale che combina il sound ritmico e partenopeo a quello del rock folk. Per le vie e le piazze del centro storico si festeggerà il Capodanno anche con la Banda Irè, una street band composta da 12 elementi che accoglierà il 2020 a suon di Samba, Axé, Samba-reggae e funky. Allo scoccare della mezzanotte si potrà assistere al suggestivo spettacolo pirotecnico che, dalla Rocca Albornoz, riempirà di suoni e colori il cielo di Spoleto. Inoltre, per tutto il periodo natalizio (30 novembre-14 gennaio) la Casina Ippocastano ospiterà i Mercatini di Natale, con il Parco Chico Mendez che si trasformerà ne “ La Foresta incantata”, uno spazio dove ammirare le luminarie artistiche e assistere, ogni weekend, a concerti musicali e spettacoli natalizi. E poi ancora sport, teatro, musica, mostre e tanti altri appuntamenti.
Anticipati inoltre alcuni degli eventi per la primavera 2020 con il ritorno sulle scene della coppia Lopez-Solenghi il 15 marzo, la Settimana Internazionale della Danza (dal 30 marzo a 4 aprile), il Salotto delle Eccellenze (tra marzo e aprile), i Concerti lirico-vocali di musica sacra Cantate Mecum Domino a cura del Teatro Lirico Sperimentale (ad aprile), i concerti a cura dell’associazione Omaggio all’Umbria (tra aprile e maggio) tra cui quello con protagonista Uto Ughi e i Concerti Sinfonici e Cameristici della Filarmonica Umbra tra maggio e giugno.
La “sacerdotessa” del rock Patti Smith con lo spettacolo “Words and music” (Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti, 3 dicembre alle 21.00), che celebrerà a Spoleto il suo ritorno in Italia. Lo straordinario talento di Moni Ovadia, attore e artista capace di raccontare l’eterno peregrinare dell’Ebreo errante, al Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti (il 27 dicembre alle ore 21.00) con “Cabaret Yiddish”. L’Ensemble Simphony Orchestra con il concerto The legend of Ennio Morricone Vol. 2°, un nuovo repertorio con gli straordinari capolavori di uno dei più grandi compositori musicali riarrangiati e proposti in un concerto teatrale di grande impatto emotivo (appuntamento il 28 dicembre alle ore 21.

This and much more in the schedule of Spoleto in wintertime. There are two events to say goodbye to the 2019 and to welcome the new year. In piazza Garibaldi, starting from 10.30 P.M., the concert of Tony Esposito with Enrico Capuano & La TamurriataRock, a wonderful musical project which combines the Neapolitan rhythmic sound with the rock folk. In the streets and in the squares of the old town will celebrate t he New Year’s Eve also with Banda Irè, a street band composed by 12 elements which will welcome the 2020 with the sound of Samba, Axè, Samba-reggae and funky.
At midnight you can watch the suggestive fireworks which, from Albornoz Rock, will fill the Spoleto sky with sounds and colors. Furthermore, for the entire Christmas time (November 30th – January 14th) the Casina Ippocastano will be hosting the Christmas Market, with the Chico Mendez Park which will turn into “ The enchanted Forest”, an area where you can watch the artistic lights and you can also watch, every weekend, some musical concerts and Christmas shows. And then again sport, theatre, music, exhibitions and many other dates.
Some events of Spring 2020 have been moved forward with the comeback of the duo Lopez-Solenghi on March 15th, the International Week of Dance (from March 30th to April 4th), the Lounge of Excellences (between March and April), the vocal lyrics Concerts of sacred music Cantate Mecum Domino edited by the Experimental Opera House (in April), some concerts edited by the association Omaggio all’Umbria (between April and May) including the one with the protagonist Uto Ughi and some Symphonic and Chamber Music Concerts by the Umbrian Philarmonic between May and June.
