Per gli amanti del tartufo appuntamento imperdibile a Cascia: l'11 e il 12 agosto torna "Aestivum", X edizione della mostra mercato dedicata al celebre "oro nero" e alla rosa.
La manifestazione si propone di approfondire la conoscenza del Tartufo estivo, prodotto principe della Valnerina, con particolare attenzione agli aspetti legati alla raccolta, alla conservazione e al suo impiego in cucina.
Ma la mostra sarà incentrata anche sulla Rosa canina, una delle specie vegetali facenti parte della corte floristica delle tartufaie, fiore diffusissimo nella Valle e che spesso si trova negli stessi ambienti in cui cresce il tuber aestivum, chiamato comunemente Scorzone.
Nel centro storico di Cascia verranno allestiti stand per la vendita delle migliori produzioni locali legate all’agroalimentare, come lo Zafferano Purissimo di Cascia, la lenticchia, la Roveja di Civita di Cascia e il farro, con particolare presenza di espositori di tartufo.

An unmissable event for lovers of truffles will take place in Cascia: "Aestivum", the tenth edition of the exhibition market devoted to the famous "black gold" and the rose will be back on 11th and 12th August.
The event aims at deepening the knowledge of the summer Truffle, the main product of the Valnerina, with particular attention to the aspects related to harvesting, conservation and its use in the kitchen.
But the exhibition will also focus on the Dog Rose, one of the plant species that are part of the floristic court of truffle grounds, a flower that is very widespread in the Valley and is often found in the same environments where the tuber aestivum, commonly called Scorzone, grows.
The historic center of Cascia will host stands for the sale of the best local products related to agribusiness, such as the Pure Saffron of Cascia, the lentil, the Roveja from Civita di Cascia and the spelt, with particular presence of truffle exhibitors.
