A febbraio Terni festeggia il proprio patrono: in tutta la città tantissime iniziative in onore di "San Valentino di Terni", protettore degli innamorati.
Terni si fa romantica ed accogliente: mette in rete esercizi commerciali, alberghi, cinema, teatri e locali, ed offre grandi spettacoli, incontri culturali, itinerari dell'arte e del sapere.
Nasce così un cartellone denso di eventi, festeggiamenti, di idee e omaggi d'amore. Fra queste, un posto di rilievo è attribuito al Premio San Valentino d’oro conferito a personalità che si sono distinte nel campo della cultura, della scienza, dello sport, delle organizzazioni umanitarie.
Ad esso è affiancato un concorso di poesia e di prosa.E poi concerti, mostre, cinema, rappresentazioni teatrali, spettacoli e tanti altri eventi da scoprire e assaporare.
Tra gli appuntamenti più golosi, ricordiamo "Cioccolentino" che torna quest'anno dal 10 al 14 febbraio con il claim "500 modi per dire ti amo", un gioco di parole che vuole unire il famoso brand automobilistico italiano a tutti gli innamorati di ogni età e generazione.
La kermesse, giunta alla sua quindicesima edizione, dedica alle coppie tantissime iniziative, oltre a proporre un programma ricco di degustazioni, laboratori e corsi, tradizioni e folklore, ma anche spettacolo ed intrattenimento.
È stato inoltre organizzato un raduno Camper “La Cascata e dintorni”, dall'11 al 14 febbraio, per far conoscere Terni e il suo territorio: la Cascata delle Marmore e i suoi sentieri, il Borgo di Piediluco e il suo lago, il Museo di Archeologia industriale, ma anche costumi, tradizioni e folklore (qui per il programma completo).

In February Terni will celebrate its own patron saint: throughout the city several initiatives in honour of “St. Valentine of Terni”, protector of lovers.
Terni will turn romantic and welcoming, by creating networks of commercial businesses, hotels, cinemas, theatres and locals, as well as by offering great performances, cultural meetings, itinerary of the art and knowledge.
A calendar rich in events, celebrations, ideas and tributes to love will therefore arise. A relevant role will be attributed to the Gold Prize of St.
Valentine awarded by personalities who have distinguished themselves in the field of culture, science, sport and humanitarian organizations. Next to this prize, there will also be a contest of poetry and prose.And then there will be concerts, exhibitions, movies, theatre performances, shows and many other events to discover and enjoy.
Among the tastiest appointments, we should remind “Cioccolentino” that is returning this year from February 10 to 14 with the slogan “500 ways to say I love you”, a play on words wishing to connect the famous Italian car brand to all lovers of every age and generation.
The festival, now in its 15th edition, devotes countless initiatives to couples, beyond proposing a calendar rich in tastings, laboratories and courses, traditions and folklore, but also show and entertainment.
A caravans’ gathering, called “The waterfall and its surroundings”, has been organized between 11th and 14th February, to introduce Terni and its territory: the Marmore’s Waterfall and its paths, the Village of Piediluco and its lake, the Museum of Industrial Archaeology, but also customs, traditions and folklore (here for the complete program).
