Santa Claus goes canoeing down the Tiber

Nel pomeriggio di Natale un gruppo di Canoisti del Canoa Club di Città di Castello scende lungo il fiume Tevere, con le canoe illuminate da torce e su di un percorso reso suggestivo da falò e fuochi d’artificio.
Raggiunto il ponte sul Tevere, presso Porta San Florido, dove è allestito un presepe illuminato, sospeso fra le due rive del fiume, i Babbo Natale, vengono accolti con gioia dai numerosi bambini presenti ai quali vengono distribuiti dolciumi e piccoli doni.

Once reached the bridge on the Tiber, near the St. Florido’s door, where an illuminated crib will be suspended between the two shores of the river, the Santa Clauses will be welcomed with joy by the several participating kids who will receive small candies and little presents.
